W.Y CHAN & ROY was established on 1 February 1984 as a partnership firm in Ipoh by the founding partners, Mr. Romesh Roy and Ms. Millie Chan Wai Yen. In 1990 the firm set up its Kuala Lumpur office.
Since its establishment, the firm has grown and the partnership is now comprised of five partners with 10 to 44 years of experience as practising advocates and solicitors two legal assistants and one consultant with 33 years of experience. The firm has more than 20 para-legal support staff with an average experience of more than 10 years in the handling of both contentious and non-contentious work.
